Why Is Apple Skipping The S Version Of The Next iPhone 7 For 2017?
So, Apple is coming out of the box in 2017 by releasing the iPhone 8 and skipping the iPhone 7 because, in 2017, iPhone will be ten years old. On this particular occasion, Apple decided to do something new something which never happens before in iPhone history.
What Are The Plans?
The plan is simple; Apple will release two variants of iPhone 8. One will be called iPhone 8, and the other will be a premium model, and it will be called iPhone 8 Plus.
Apple is currently working on ten different prototypes, and one of them features a significantly different design. That mock-up has a bezel-free display, edge to edge design, and no home button.
Apple will add some amazing specifications and features in upcoming iPhone 8. Those specs of iPhone 8 include the OLED screen, faster processor because Apple could introduce A11 Fusion Chip, the battery could be extended; we can witness bigger RAM this time. The storage and graphics chip specs will remain same. There would not be any headphone jack as Apple killed it in iPhone 7.
Now, if we talk about the features of iPhone 8, then prepare yourself for the wireless charging function. The concept is old, but Apple is executing it for the very first time. The other smartphone companies already introduce this feature of wireless charging but still the smartphone needs to be placed on some device, but the wireless charging in iPhone 8 would not be so called wireless like other smartphone companies.
