The recently published article reveals that iPhone 8 will feature A11 ARM processor. The current models iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have Quad-Core 2.34 GHz processor. The response is enormous for the current models, and they broke all the previous records of sale. Currently, the iPhone 7 is the best-selling smartphone till date.
iPhone 8 Will Feature A11 ARM Processor
According to the latest reports, Apple will produce A10X processor in March 2017 for the next generation iPad. In the meantime, the A11 processor will be in mass production by the second quarter of the next year. It could feature in upcoming iPhone 8. The processing chipset has been designed by the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) as per the report.
If we believe the reports then A11 ARM processors will be a lot faster and more power efficient if we compare it with previous models or latest iPhone 7 processor Quad-Core 2.34 GHz.
TSMC will invest $16 billion, and they are ready for building future chips. It would immensely help Apple in making iPhone better.
In other words, TSMC will produce A11 ARM processor and it will feature in forthcoming iPhone 8, which is internally referred as “iPhone 8 Ferrari”. We thought that the “iPhone 8 Ferrari” name reflects more speed, power and performance and this report is apparently true if we look it in that context.
APPLE IPHONE 8 RELEASE DATE
The upcoming iPhone 8 is going to release in the month of September in 2017. There will be three variants by Apple next year. Though, it is not confirmed whether they will be iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone 8 Ferrari. Or Apple will release the iPhone 7 successor iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus. The iPhone 7S has fewer chances slightly because Apple might ditch the ‘S’ version of iPhone on its tenth anniversary.
