If the news is true, then iPhone 8 may not feature curved OLED display.
The Upcoming iPhone 8 May Not Feature Curved OLED Display
It is hard for the Apple enthusiast to find the difference between iPhone 8 rumors and wishful thinking. However, we can count on the prominent analyst to bring us all down to earth.
A much-rumored feature of hotly anticipated iPhone 8 has been curved OLED display from a couple of months. Though, it is not going to happen as per the claims by an industry analyst.
Speaking to MacRumors, analyst Wayne Lam said that “Apple will introduce and feature OLED display, but it would not be curved.”
Different analysts are confident that Apple will release at least one model of iPhone 8 that will feature OLED display. Apple has not ever utilized this technology before. On the other hand, rival Samsung is using this for many years.
The Cupertino-based tech giants have not changed its design from last three years. Everyone is expecting that they will come up with a radical design. The rumors suggested the same, and it is their 10th anniversary of iPhone manufacturing so we should expect something out of the box from Apple.
It is good to know that every analyst is predicting OLED display. The OLED screen pixels produce their light. The screen does not need a saving power or backlight.
It is expected that iPhone 8 launch will take place this year in September. Apple is celebrating the 10th anniversary of iPhone models.
