Tim Cook, Apple CEO believes that AR feature will keep his company at the top. Bringing this technology to the masses would be a great strategy. It will keep the next generation devoted to the Apple and its technology. Apple has already set up a team with the experts of the field. Reportedly, these experts have involved in the success of HoloLens and Oculus virtual reality (VR) headsets.

The Cupertino-based tech giant also acquired a few small tech firms that are working with 3D gaming, VR software, and AR hardware. As per the reports by Bloomberg, the company is working on different AR products.

Tim Cook is hinting that AR would be a core technology for the Apple. Various analysts and tech experts are speculating that Apple may use this technology in all of its products.

Shortly after the news, JP Morgan analyst, Rod Hall says that iPhone 8 will have a front-facing 3D laser scanner to identify that user’s face in place of a fingerprint scanner. It will provide first class security to the users.
