The rumour mill finally gets respite as the facts take over now. The grand event was held in California, where the three iPhones were flaunted in all their grandeur. What we first heard to be iPhone 7S and 7S Plus are actually iPhone 8 and 8 Plus. The name quest for the premium iPhone ends as well. The first of its kind phone is iPhone X.
The current iPhone 7 and 7 Plus phones are redesigned to form the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus. The features have been updated according to Apple’s current products.
The rumors in their infancy were claiming iPhone 8 to be Apple’s main new handset. Apple did not completely surprise us, as we were already anticipating three iPhones. Instead, we consider the launch of all the three smartphones as part of the 10th anniversary of the debut of the iPhone.
While addressing the audience at the launch, Tim Cook says, “Our intention has always been to create something so magical, powerful, that the hardware virtually disappears.” He further talks about how this is a new step forward for iPhone that will determine the way for technology for the next decade.
Apple Executive Phil Schiller introduced iPhone 8 saying the handset “improves on everything we love about the iPhone”.

Applaudable Features Of iPhone 8 and 8 Plus
The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, similar to iPhone X, will come with wireless charging.
Simply placing the phone on a power pad will charge up the phone. It is the initiation of the technology in the iPhone range. There are definitely no words to describe the gratitude for never getting tangled into the mess of wires and plugging in a cable.
Apple brought its new operating system, iOS 11, in June. The new iPhones will be embedded with this new operating system. iOS 11 houses hundreds of astounding features like a redesigned control centre, better multitasking, improvements to the camera, peer-to-peer Apple Pay and new safety features.
A 12MP dual-lens camera similar to the one featuring the iPhone last year will be in the iPhone 8 Plus. It has a larger and faster sensor, new color filter, and deeper pixels.
Apple professes that the new camera delivers the highest video quality with better video stabilization and 4K video up to 60fps.
The news of abandoning the Home button and Touch ID on the iPhone X was rampant. The iPhone 8 will be consisting of both. Unfortunately, it will be devoid of facial recognition.
The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are perfect in all aspects. Undoubtedly, they are the appealing low-price companions of the iPhone X!
