According to the latest report, Apple is currently working on a large variant of iPhone 8. Apple iPhone 8 will sport 5.8 inch display by Samsung. So, there will be three variants of iPhones next year, and they will come in three different sizes. New leak surfaced a few days ago, and Digitimes uncovered the details that Nissha Printing of Japan will handle the supply of AMOLED display touch sensors and Samsung would take care of bonding the panels and sensors.

The regular iPhone variants will have 4.7 inches screen and 5.5 inches screen. They will feature LCD -Liquid Crystal Display and the third variant will have 5.8 inches large display, and it will feature OLED –Organic Light Emitting Display. Samsung, the rival of Apple, will provide the AMOLED displays exclusively for iPhone 8 and they will supply around twenty million OLED panels every month.

According to the supply chain sources, Apple would make 70 million units of 5.8 inches display and Samsung is the only company who is manufacturing its units in this much quantity.

It is also rumored that Apple will have significant changes in its design. It could be an edge to edge design with OLED display.

The upcoming iPhone 8 is expected to be the best smartphone device up till now in the market. It is rumored to feature OLED, ARM A11 processor, wireless charging technology, no physical home and volume buttons and much more.

Apple is celebrating its tenth anniversary of manufacturing iPhone in 2017. The first iPhone was introduced ten years back by late Steve Jobs in 2007.  According to the mill of rumor, Apple is planning something out of the box next year and they would ditch the ‘S’ version of iPhone 7.
