The most anticipated and widely rumored 5.8 inches smartphone with an edge to edge design along with Organic Light Emitting Display – OLED will be iPhone 8. The Apple iPhone 8 will have 3 GB RAM and 256 GB storage.
Apple iPhone 8 Will Have 3 GB RAM And 256 GB Storage
According to the Chinese research firm Trend Force, the RAM and storage options of upcoming iPhone will be similar to its predecessors. The RAM of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus is 3 GB, and Trend Force is predicting the same for iPhone 8.
The space options of iPhone 7 are 32 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB. However, the Chinese research firm is saying that upcoming iPhone has only two storage options, which are 64 GB and 256 GB.
It is interesting because Apple ditched the 16 GB along with 64 GB option, but they are saying that upcoming iPhone will have 64 GB. If we believe on the news, then iPhone 8 would not have 16 GB, 32 GB, and 128 GB option.
Trend Force also said that Apple would remove the home button altogether as it is rumored everywhere. The home button functions will be integrated into the display like 3D facial recognition.
The research note also said that the 5.8 inches iPhone 8 will be accompanied by the typical 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches models, but they will come with conventional Liquid Crystal Display – LCD. However, the 4.7 inches model will feature 2 GB RAM.
We should not forget that last year, Chinese firm Trend Force predicted accurately that iPhone 7 and Plus model would be available in 32 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB.
