The upcoming iPhone 8 may still be eight to nine months away, but the speculations about the highly anticipated mobile device are flooding the internet. Apple could introduce iPhone 8 facial recognition feature in 2017. According to the research note provided to clients by Coven and Company indicates that iPhone 8 might include some form of gesture and facial recognition (via Business Insider).
Apple Could Introduce iPhone 8 Facial Recognition Feature
The research note also contains various new details about Apple’s forthcoming iPhone which is going to launch this year in September.
The analyst Timothy Arcuri wrote that other iPhone 8 might have some sort of facial or gesture recognition which will be supported by a new laser sensor. Another sensor in the line-up is infrared sensor set near the front camera, and it would also feature the wireless charging technology.

The analyst Timothy Arcuri also expects that there will be three different variants of iPhone 8. One will be primary iPhone 8 with 4.7 inches screen, second will be premium iPhone 8 Plus of 5.5 inches display, and the third one will be iPhone 8 Ferrari, and it would feature massive 5.8 inches screen.
The iPhone 8 Ferrari of 5.8 inches will feature Organic Light Emitting Diode – OLED and the other models will retain same display of Liquid Crystal Display – LED.
The iPhone 8 Ferrari will have a wraparound design, and it will unify the Touch ID fingerprint sensor under a glass and on the active display area.
However, Timothy Arcuri calling the next iPhone as “iPhone 8” or “iPhone X” and he believes that it will be huge and it would have unbelievably amazing specs and features.
